Boqian and I arrived in Shanghai this morning. We met up with a couple of other Bryant students, Max and Xuhao, for lunch. It’s great to see these students in their home country and, for some of them, home town.
Shanghai is very modern. It’s amazing that this is even the same country.
We went to the top of the tallest building in Shanghai, third tallest in the world, the Shanghai World Financial Center . The experience was kind of Disney meets Star Wars in the coolest possible way. The elevator goes from the 1st to the 94th floor in about a minute (maybe less) and there are pulsating lights inside adding to the sci-fi element. Very cool. And an amazing view from the 100th floor.
